The film revolves around the three-generation love between the peach blossom fairy and the mortals L Iu He and Huang Yi. Liu and the young guardian peach tree got married. As an adult, he was married by Huang's father because of the family's family. The peach blossom fairy blocked the marriage because of her love. Under the guidance of Mengbi, she realized true love, and finally achieved true love in the whole wo rld with self-sacrifice. The story integrates classical literary images and fantasy narrative techniques through the conflict of love and obsession.
